This coming weekend is loaded with a nice list of interesting concerts, big parties and bustling dance events. The “Musik-Tanz-Ticker” brings all the information you need to make your plans for the weekend and for the next week. Open eyes and ears and start practice your dancing skills! Here in Braunschweig! My first visit was astonishing and absolutely special!!!

Sommerfest der Zwischentöne: Pas d´nom pas d´maison | St. Pauli-Kirche | 15.00 – 17.00  | 13 Euro / 10 Euro
They bring this time passionate French gypsy and Balkan music to the stage of the Open Air St. Pauli Church. This concert and many other activities are part of the summer party this coming 27.06. and 28.06.!

The flute, the most underpriced music instrument, and sometimes even hated by many young highschool students?… well then, here we have big news: the flute rocks! With interpretations like „Highway to Hell“ or „Walk on the Wild Side“, the three musicians of Wildes Holz want to convince the audience with this underrated („Uncool“?) musical instrument.

Yes… France made it again to our Ticker!…This event at the the Gliesmaroder Towers will bring you a live experience of French Chansons. We haven’t had this activity before in the ticker but will be for sure a nice opportunity to enjoy a beautiful set of traditional songs.

The Eiko-association brings Braunschweigs musicians on stage and promotes their potential. Many artists find here not only a platform to perform but also the support required from the association. For this periodical activity called “Eiko-Musikschöpfungen“, your original ideas, bands and soloist artists are allowed to be presented in the cozy Kaufbar in front of a colorful, diverse, grateful and open-minded public.

Latin dance

During the two days of the summer party there will be a lot of live music! This little festival comes full of guests and a kids program full of fun. And in case of bad weather, well you can get in the church instead of digging your shoes into the mood, as usual.

Summertime all day long!
Himmelfahrtskommando Festival | Kennel-Bad | 12.00 – 22.00 | 10 Euro VVK / 15 Euro
Disco Boys, Toni Rios, Brothers Incognito and many regional DJs. 10 hours of fine party with mixes from 10 DJs! And then it pops right: at the top of the event, the amazing fireworks at 10 pm to close the Himmelfahrtskommando Festival. New date due to the cancellation due to bad weather (previously: 29/05/2014)

„FIT IN music“-Schülerkonzert Pop/Rock | LOT-Theater | 15.00 – 19.00| for free
Here, children show what they can! Some of them will rock the stage for the first time: The music school FIT IN prepares a delightful evening on the cozy stage of the LOT-Theatre, which ensures us to have again a first-class musical program of the year.
