Multitalent, Multiinstrumentalist, Multikulti
Ray Cooper in der Kaufbar | 20 Uhr | 12 Euro
Multi everywhere. Ray Cooper not only mastered more instruments than I am able to identify, but also he managed to play almost the same amount of songs from different cultures and music genres from the whole world. Playing Cello,  Bass, Guitar, a Mandoline, Harmonica and a Kantele (?). He is able to interpret Scottish, English and Nordic lyrics. There is though one only common denominator: Love. Ray Cooper repertory comes with a full load of love and wedding songs.

Newcomer ganz groß!
The Graveltones + Buffalo Summer im Hansa Kultur-Club | 20 Uhr | AK 14€
The Hansa demonstrate with this concert its affinity for new bands! The Gravel Tones from London rising rapidly and fits perfectly in the Braunschweiger rock venues. This concert should not be missed, because this band is full of energy and they will prove it with their Live-endurance while being on stage! They made a 350 concerts training last year!

Der Preis geht an die Punkcrustband mit dem besten Namen!
Rasta-Knast, Grimnex und Abrupt im Nexus | Einlass 21 Uhr, Beginn 22 Uhr | ca. 6 Euro
I cannot decide which of the names of these bands I like the most! Rasta-Knast, Grimnex and Abrupt sound for me really as edgy good punk. Broken tongues and bones are more or less guaranteed at this punk concert. Be good and help renovate the Nexus! Would you? Supposedly, there are going to be melancholic tones by Rasta-Knast… but even I can hardly believe that’s true! So… seeing is believing, or better said: listening is believing, let us know how it was!

Zukunft? Metallische Endzeit!
Metal over Brunswick im B58 | Einlass 20 Uhr, Beginn 21 Uhr | 5 Euro
If Voltron, Cyohinism, Dead End Future and Time to Bleed invoke the apocalypse at the B58 Youth Centre B58, the sky over Braunschweig will get closed. Death and Trashmetal are definitively the right music to set an apocalyptic mood. Long live the apocalyptic Metallers!

WG-Gesucht: Berliner sucht Elektrofreunde
“Wohnungsbesichtigung” | Alfred Heinrichs,  Sebastian Funke, Chris Hauer und Stitse im Roxx
Alfred Heinrichs, head of the labels supdub, supdub digitales, moonplay and dantze, has been proactively and deeply engaged to electronic sounds and is a well recognized player at the heart of this genre. Since 1992 is this Berliner performing in the Techno scene and he is looking right now for a WG in Braunschweig! During this party night he frequents the musical “Wohnungsbesichtigung” together with his „roommates“, the Braunschweiger DJ Sebastian Funke and Chris Hauer and Stietse from Salzgitter.  Alfred Heinrichs represents definitively a cultural scene; therefore the Kult-Tour Braunschweig team will also be there to learn a bit of this exciting electronic sub culture!

Samstag, 12.04.

Liedermachersound pur und gut
Aaden in der Kaufbar | 20 Uhr | Eintritt frei, Hut geht rum
The german singer/songwriter from Mainz has played very diverse music styles throughout his career, but he has now gone back to his roots: Intimate songwriter, focusing on what is essential. His new album called Bandprojekts Aaden goes right to the point without lushness. Deep and wonderful songs, along with a guitar, piano and some strings arranges.

Durchticken mit Jazz
Cranqued out of two im Roten Saal/Schloss | 20 Uhr  | AK 10 Euro / erm. 6 Euro | VVK  8 Euro / erm. 5,00 € (zzgl. VVK-Gebühr)
That sounds already very interesting and we guarantee a lot of emotion on the stage. The slogan of these two bands Jazz Vax (from NYC) and Konglomerat (from Leipzig) is „Craqued out“, which fits perfect to our Music Tanz-Ticker-Tick: “Tick, Tick, Tick”. In New York this band is driving everyone crazy and Leipzig is walking forward to become the new Berlin. Now they bring us their Psycho-Jazz and Groove-Free-Jazz and will make us enjoy.

Modern oder klassisch?
Engstfeld/Weiss Quartett in der Bassgeige | 20 Uhr | 15 Euro
A little bit classic but not old at all is what we will be able to hear this Saturday at the Bassgeige. Wolfgang Engstfeld, tenorsaxofonist and the drummer Peter Weiss work together since the last three years and will be playing together with Christian Ramon (bass) and Hendrik Soll (piano). Their original jazz compositions are at the same time traditional and under constant evolution. Fans of Jazz, who want to spend a lovely jazzy night, are more than welcome to visit the Bassgeige.

Die ganze Bandbreite des Indie
Darwin & The Dinosaur, Keep it a Secret und Rascal im B85 | Einlass 20 Uhr, Beginn 21 Uhr | 5 euro
What is indie? Could be that it starts with Pop, passing through rock, making a quick stop in Punk and ends with some Posthardcore. These three bands offer a very original interpretation to the public, which sometimes like it hard and sometimes not so hard. No one will be disappointed at the end!

Affenmäßiger Spaß
GoGorillas im Hansa Kultur-Club | 20 Uhr | VVk 13,90
Eurorock, Indie and Alternative music go together very well, for me of course. But the music from GoGorillas is really something. The band plays classic rock genres, hip hop and performs at the stage a very cool monkey show. That sounds like fun, big time. Beware of the monkeys, Braunschweig!

Braunschweiger Promi-Nacht
Stil vor Talent Labelnight im Brain | 23 Uhr
Oliver Koletzki, world-renowned and internationally active DJ and owner of a label company, comes back home! He began In Brain Club his career and now it’s time for the traditional home visit. Isn’t that nice!? We should expect an evening full of multi-layered electronic sounds from the three talented DJs: DJ Oliver Koletzki, Niko Schwind and Nhan Solo, which mix melodic-spherical and some impulsive hard-bass-rich.

Sonntag, 13.04.
Ha! Hardcore!
Born from Pain, First Blood, Desolated, No Second Thought, Overcome und Almost Equal im B58 | Einlass 17 Uhr, Beginn 17.30 Uhr | 10 Euro
Ha, Hardcore! Finally we have again a concert with a decent package of Hardcore from six different bands. What more can I say? Whoever feels like going hardcore this weekend, both old and new hardcore-followers should not miss this event.
